Patrick grew up on Hessle Road and met Vera Lodge in Rayners pub in the 1970s. Patrick was a filleter and also went on several fishing trips on Danish boats. After marrying they continued to socialise in venues across HU3. During the 80s they would often be in the audience of drag performances. Patrick and his friends continue to meet at Halfway Hotel regularly
